NFPN was established in 1992 with the mission of serving as the primary national voice for the preservation of families. NFPN's mission has been achieved through supporting a successful model for family preservation: Intensive Family Preservation Services (IFPS). IFPS has also been successfully applied to reunification cases in the form of Intensive Family Reunification Services (IFRS). This paper provides a detailed analysis of current findings related to IFPS and IFRS and implications.
